KITCHEN REMODEL IN CIRCLE C, AUSTIN, TX
This Circle C kitchen needed a layout that felt open, functional, and better connected to the rest of the home. During planning, Owner, Bert Bell reworked the layout to open the room visually and create a cleaner, more efficient workflow. Once the design was finalized, we coordinated every detail with the homeowners before starting demo.
To open the space, we modified the structural support wall and removed the old oven enclosure and corner pantry. This allowed us to redesign the entire cooking zone and build custom roll‑out pantry cabinets around the refrigerator for organized, easy‑access storage. We also added a dedicated bar area just off the kitchen, giving the homeowners a separate spot for drinks, glassware, and entertaining.
The cooking area became a focal point. We designed a custom backsplash feature behind the rangetop, complete with a wall‑mounted pot filler and integrated spice‑rack organization on both sides for everyday convenience. The oven and microwave were combined into a single built‑in stack with a warming drawer below, keeping the appliance layout clean and efficient.
The finished kitchen is brighter, more open, and far more functional than what the home originally offered. The new layout, custom storage solutions, and upgraded cooking zone give the homeowners a space that finally works the way they live.
