Kitchen Remodel in Cedar Park, TX
This Bryce Canyon neighborhood home in Cedar Park needed a full kitchen overhaul to replace the original layout and improve the flow between the kitchen and dining areas. The homeowners wanted a cleaner, more open design with updated finishes throughout the first floor. Owner, Bert Bell reworked the entire plan, finalizing the scope and selections before demo to keep the project organized from start to finish.
We removed everything down to the studs and eliminated the framed‑in corner pantry and peninsula that were blocking the main walkway through the kitchen. The wall between the kitchen and dining room was opened with a new structural header, creating a more connected layout. We trenched the slab to run electrical to the new island and rebuilt the kitchen with modern cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a vertically installed 2x6 brick‑glass mosaic backsplash.
The entire first floor received new 6x36 wood‑look porcelain tile for a cohesive, durable finish. The fireplace was also updated with a tiled wall and hearth, a new insert, and a floating walnut mantle to tie the space together.
The homeowners appreciated the communication, craftsmanship, and attention to detail throughout the project. The finished kitchen and living areas now feel open, modern, and far more functional than the original layout.
