CIRCLE C RANCH KITCHEN

This Circle C Ranch kitchen started as a boxed-in space with partial walls and a tight layout that didn’t match the way the homeowners lived. The planning centered on opening things up — structurally and visually — while adding custom features that made the space more functional and refined. Owner, Bert Bell led the design and construction process, coordinating every detail before demo began.

We removed a major support wall and post, then added structural beams spanning all four directions between the ceiling and second-story floor to open the space safely. The small island was replaced with a large, custom-built centerpiece, and we added custom buffet cabinetry to accent the kitchen area. Double-door cabinets now reach the ceiling, with a two-tone finish palette that anchors the room. We installed Hickory wood flooring throughout the first floor, tying the kitchen into the rest of the home.

The backsplash features a mosaic pattern behind the rangetop, and the fireplace area was fully remodeled with a tiled wall, modern insert, and floating shelves tucked into a custom nook. The result is a thoughtfully designed, transitional style kitchen that feels brighter, more connected, and built for the way this family lives.
