CIRCLE C NORTH

This large 1980s home in Circle C North needed a full kitchen overhaul to replace the original layout and dated finishes. The homeowners wanted a brighter, more open space with modern functionality, so Owner, Bert Bell reworked the entire plan from floor to ceiling. All scope and selections were finalized before demo to keep the project organized and predictable.

We removed the original kitchen completely and opened the wall between the kitchen and dining area, installing a four‑ply structural LVL beam to support the new layout. Plumbing and electrical were relocated, including a new 50‑amp circuit for the oven and microwave combo. The wood paneling on the walls and ceiling was removed, and the kitchen ceiling height was raised to make the space feel larger and more connected to the rest of the home.

One of the most unique features of this remodel is the walk‑through pantry hidden behind two full‑height cabinet doors. Instead of traditional cabinetry, the doors open into a full pantry room with shelving on both sides, leading to a secondary entry door to the garage. The kitchen was completed with an induction cooktop, wall‑mount chimney hood, 42" built‑in refrigerator, and a flush‑mount double oven. A dedicated bar area was added with a sink, under‑counter ice maker, and beverage cooler. The kitchen backsplash features a travertine Versailles pattern, while the bar area uses a linear stone and glass mosaic for contrast.

The homeowners appreciated the communication, craftsmanship, and attention to detail throughout the project. The finished kitchen is a dramatic transformation—open, modern, and designed for the way they live today.
